Fees
Individual therapy sessions: $300 per session (55 minutes)
I understand that therapy is a financial commitment, and I am dedicated to providing value and support that align with your goals.
Insurance
I partner with Sinai UMR Top Tier insurance (often $0 co-pay).
For all other plans, I am an out-of-network (OON) provider, which means I do not accept insurance directly. However, I partner with Thrizer, a service that handles OON claims and ensures quick reimbursements (often between 50-80% of session cost depending on your insurance plan). You can easily check your benefits using Thrizer’s benefit checker.

Imagine each therapy session costs $10. Your insurance can help cover part of this cost, but only after you’ve spent a certain amount on therapy for the year. This amount is called your deductible. Once you’ve met your deductible, insurance will start paying you back for part of each session.
You let your insurance know how much you’ve paid by submitting a “superbill” (a detailed receipt). Here’s how it works:
First, meet your deductible: This means paying for therapy yourself until you reach your deductible amount. For example, if your deductible is $50, you’ll pay for sessions out of pocket until you’ve spent $50.
Once the deductible is met: You pay for each session up front, and insurance pays you back a part of it, based on your plan.
If insurance covers 50%: You pay $10 for a session, and insurance gives you back $5, so your cost is $5 per session.
If insurance covers 80%: You pay $10 for a session, and insurance gives you back $8, so your cost is $2 per session.
So, after meeting your deductible, you pay the session fee up front, and insurance sends you money back for a portion of each session, making the cost of therapy more affordable.
